This week, I continued working on the labs, but I decided to change it up and use a few external sites for exercises. Sometimes I find myself not knowing how to do things in Linux such as more advanced grepping or searching, so I decided to start woking through Overthewire.com for additional practice. I completed Bandit this week and it definitely helped me refresh my memory on a lot of things.
I was only able to get 2 lab machines this week, but I think I am on track to get into the next network. Another thing I did was go back and start making a spreadsheet of all of the credentials I found on each of the boxes I have completed to help the pivoting process. Also, I think I am starting to become a lot more comfortable with Windows machines. I learned a lot about PowerShell this week and it has proved to be very useful. My goal for this week is to get into the next network and start enumerating the next set of machines.
